Oh Child ! The words pour from the lips,
To Dharma and Purana’s path, always stick.
Your dreams will not turn out to be a Mirage,
Always in me you will have firm faith;
Devotees are born when devotees go away,
And always they follow Guru’s words and obey.
The Moon, the Sun, and the rulers of the ten directions,
Introduced as witness to the world, are the four Vedas;
From one era to the other I make the devotees take birth,
The Moon and the Sun are eternal witness to the fact.
Devotees are extremely dear to my soul,
And for the devotees, I am a mate forever;
Remember, devotees are more than my life,
It is for the devotees, that I feel and exist,
And devotees are the mate of my life.
The Guru-Shisya feelings will remain for ages,
Oh! So many eras roll away,
And devotees are my life’s mate...
In Satya (yuga), devotee Munis-Rishis made austerities,
And they ended in the deep Naimisya Woods;
In Treta (yuga), Bears and Monkeys, they became,
And jumped the Ocean to Lanka, holding Guru’s name,
Mercy, Oh Formless Transcendental God ...
Mercy, Oh Formless Transcendental God ...
And in “Dhabala Bata”, he in the name Narayan,
The illusionary in disguise, plays with Bhaktas ...
The illusionary in disguise, plays with Bhaktas ...
In Dwapara (yuga), you became Gopis and Gopalas,
And you stole my heart, in the Brindavans ...
And you stole my heart, in the Brindavans ...
And at “Nadiya Nava” in the family of fisherman,
I became a friend with the form of Chaitanya,
For the divine sport and play ...
For the divine sport and play ...
And this sport and play of the eras
And my unity in “Nama”
Is for the Kali yuga devotee-mates...
And for divine sport and play...
In Kali (yuga), shall I take the wooden deity form,
And will be reciting the name Narayan;
After giving “Panch Mantra” to “Pancha Janya”,
I disappeared into the wooden form;
Words of formless Shunya; words of the formless Shunya
And Pancha-Sakhaa mantras will be taken by the Shisyas
Inside shall they be knowing my name ...
Inside shall they be knowing my name ...
As the trap catches a mouse,
So shall I catch the Kali-devotees;
Else, I shall put a tiger-cage,
Putting bait, shall I catch them away,
My principle will never go stray...
My principle will never go stray...
And poor Achyuta has taken up the thought
To get his devotee
To get his devotee
Neither do I have a temple nor a building,
Always below the “Bata” I stay strong;
And to the “Bata” he keeps tied the body ,
And from there everything I observe,
The direction of feeling of the Devotee,
The direction of feeling of the Devotee;
At times waving the flag, I make seeds (souls) fly,
But again, moving with the wind I become their mate,
Moving with the wind I become their mate;
With the wind, do not let the feelings be lost,
And this “flying” is for the seeds best;
I give to you My Words,
Never, for wealth, did or shall I ask,
The feelings will remain for ages and eras...
The feelings will remain for ages and eras...
And on some days,
Shall you remember poor Achyuta’s words
Shall you remember poor Achyuta’s words.
And the poor wretched I am Arakhsita Dasa,
In devotees home I take my (a place) “Basa”;
In the form of a watchman, I keep vigil at the door,
And, become their savior at the times of danger,
Oh! My forms are unknown to me either...
Oh! My forms are unknown to me either...
And, I spend my days like a wretched person
Devotees are the wealth and very dear to my soul...
Devotees are the wealth and very dear to my soul...
